A new solar array concept has been invented initially for powerful and accurate pointing satellites at low altitude.
At the end of the day, every satellite can take advantage of the invention as it globally mitigates debris, risks, and cost.
Cost effective
The design of the solar array is based on an invention which allows to get a cost-effective satellite architecture, more particularly for satellite with huge solar arrays, or for Low Earth Orbit constellations.
Clean space
The invention fosters clean space basically by increasing the satellite reliability and lifetime and so reduces the impact of satellites end of life pollution.
Reliability
Increasing reliability guarantees predictable and safe Low-Earth-Orbit satellite atmosphere re-entry at satellite end of life.
And so, it increases safety and mitigates the orbital wastes.
Lifetime
Increasing satellite lifetime globally reduces the rate of satellites atmosphere re-entries.
And so, it increases safety and mitigates atmosphere pollution.
Available market
The invention is applicable to every spacecraft designed with solar panels. The available market is about 100% of the satellites market around the world.
